Self Tamko: Presenting the album to the women who have raised me and the women who have taught me how to be, the women who have come before me in music, in girlfriend, and in my culture. You were experiencing a bit of a creative block before you started the album. How did you get shot of that? For me, it was to abandon personal and outside expectations [for] my work. Taking the step, like Garrel, of moving behind the camera, is something Casta has experienced, too.

The film drew attention, thanks to a particular scene featuring women walking naked from the waist down. Why was it important for her to make it?
I wanted to talk about that. What matters is to be able to put your experiences to good use.

What I want is for women to be victorious. But then I realised it was an opportunity to experience acting in a way I had never done before, so I felt lucky to be given this chance.
